I am a Nanny, Birth and Postpartum Doula. I am based in Nanaimo, BC, and available across Vancouver Island.
My commitment to you is to provide a safe and healthy environment for children under my care. My loyalty and trustworthiness shine through in every interaction, earning the admiration of both parents and children alike.
Specializing in infant and toddler care, I also have experience working with children with diverse needs and all ages, ensuring that every child receives the attention and support they deserve to thrive.

An example of ways I could help you and your family could include but are not limited to:
Transport children too and from a venue
Spend time with children away from the event (either at home or a designated area)
Sit with children during events to ensure safety, entertainment, and needs are met (ie. at a wedding)
Meal preparation and feeding the children
Organized and supervised activities to keep children entertained when required
Overnight options can be available when it is required. Enjoy your night out and ensure your children are safely tucked in an taken care of!
If you are looking to share the costs of my services with another family, I am available to work with multiple children.
For multiple family bookings, please indicate in the inquiry submission.
Do you have pets in the household? No problem, I love animals!

This is a one-time commitment for the date(s) you request
Hours you can book are between 6 am - 12 am, or overnight if required
Requests are a minimum of 4 hours with a maximum of 36 hours.
An example of this would be, I arrive at 7 am Saturday and leave at 12 pm Sunday. Overnights must be requested ahead of time to ensure the time is available.
If you are looking for multiple days of nanny support, this can be discussed based on the scenario.
Once you submit an inquiry request I will be in touch to schedule a phone conversation. If we both feel it is a good fit to work together we will schedule an in-person consultation.
A schedule is pre-determined ahead of time and secured during the contract signing process.

We now offer multiple Special Event packages to suit a variety of needs and occasions.
A transportation fee may be required depending on location or if any transportation is required while working with the children.
All families I work with will be provided a contract after consultations are complete to ensure we are moving forward with the same expectations, plans, and values.
A non-refundable payment will be due on the day of contract signing.
If changes to your event take place, you may cancel up to 48 hours before the event however, your deposit is non-refundable

This is for those looking for a part-time nanny to fit into their routine.
An example of ways I could help you and your family could include but are not limited to:
School pick-up or drop-off
Taking your children to after-school activities like swimming, hockey, ballet, etc.
During working hours, at home 1:1 care with the child
Meal preparation and feeding the children
Organized and supervised activities within the home like crafting, imaginary play, reading, etc.
Overnight options can be available for guardians who work shift work. This is available in a case-by-case situation.
Do you have pets in the household? No problem, I love animals!

This is a recurring weekday commitment within the requested time frame by your family.
There is a 4 hour minimum for booking.
Hours will be discussed based on your family's needs.
Once you submit an inquiry request I will be in touch to schedule a phone conversation. If we both feel it is a good fit to work together we will schedule an in-person consultation.
A schedule is pre-determined ahead of time and secured during the contract signing process.
I ask that all families be willing to commit to my services for a minimum of three months once we reach the confirmation process.

My hourly rate is $30 for 1 child. Each additional child is $5.
There is a travel fee for families that live outside of Nanaimo.
All families I work with will be provided a contract after consultations are complete to ensure we are moving forward with the same expectations, plans, and values.
A non-refundable 50% of the first month's payment will be due on the day of contract signing. The amount owing will be dependent on how much I am scheduled to work for your family.

Depending on your desires for Doula support I offer a variety of packages to cater to your needs. Each package will include:
Prenatal Appointments
Postpartum Appointment
Labour and Birth Support
I will be on call 24/7 from 38 weeks until 42 weeks
Unlimited text and call support during your pregnancy
Please fill out a connection form at the link below where we will discuss your goals and how I could best support you. The number of appointments can vary for each package I offer.

It is recommended to connect with a Doula as soon as you discover you are pregnant even if it is to plan ahead.
Most clients prefer to have a Doula supporting them during their third trimester. Prenatal meetings take place between 30-37 weeks .
I ask my clients to maintain and have open communication while attending all of our prenatal meetings so I can best support you during our time together.

All packages require a $500 non-refundable deposit (for birth) due upon signing the contract to reserve a space in my calendar.
Postpartum care is determined based on an hourly rate and the clients needs (please view the packages for more details)
Payments can be made in installments once the deposit has been received.
If you live further than 30 km from my office a $35 travel fee is added to offset travel fees to and from your home or prenatal visits.
